Fantasy Skinz (“the app”) is league software operated by Fantasy Skinz LLC (Colorado). This policy says what we store, why, and what we never touch. It is written to be read.

The most important fact

Fantasy Skinz never holds, accepts, or transmits money, and never processes payment cards. The app keeps score and records who owes whom inside your league; settling up happens person to person, outside the app, through whatever payment service your league already uses. We never see those transactions.

What we store

  • Account: your email address, a display name, and your date of birth (asked once to enforce our 18-and-over rule; never displayed anywhere).
  • League data: league names, team names, rosters, lineups, schedules, scores, and the record book your league builds.
  • The ledger:obligations between named teams in your league: who owes whom, in the app's own units. The ledger contains no card numbers, no bank details, and no payment history, because we never touch any of that.
  • Payment handles (optional): if you choose, the username you use on a payment service (for example a Venmo handle) so league mates can find you to settle up. It is a username you already share with friends, never a credential.
  • Plan status: which plan your leagues run on and when it ends. Today every plan is one we provide at no charge; nothing in the app is sold. When a commissioner plan goes on sale we will also keep an identifier from the store that billed it, and we will update this policy first. Never a card number.
  • Technical basics: sign-in cookies and the logs any web service produces (timestamps, pages served).
  • On your phone:the app keeps your sign-in and a saved copy of the league you last opened in the phone's protected storage, so it opens without a connection. Signing out removes both, and so does deleting your account.
  • League connection (optional): if your league is on a platform that needs you to sign in, the sign-in or authorization that platform gave us, encrypted, and kept only while you leave the connection open.

What we never store

Card or bank numbers. Government IDs. Your location. Your contacts. Advertising identifiers. Your Fantasy Skinz password, because there is not one. We do not sell data, anyone's, ever, and there are no third-party ads. The one thing we do keep that belongs to another company is the league connection listed above, and only while you leave it connected.

Who else touches data

  • Infrastructure: our database and hosting providers (Supabase, Vercel) store the data above on our behalf.
  • Email: sign-in codes and league invitations are delivered by our email provider (Resend).
  • Error reports: when something breaks on our servers, an error report goes to Sentry, a monitoring service, so we find out before you have to tell us. A report carries the error, which part of the app failed, and which league and week it concerned. It never carries your name, your email, or your payment handles.
  • Sports statistics: player stats come FROM licensed data providers into the app; none of your personal data goes to them.
  • League connections (optional): if you bring a league in from another platform, some platforms need you to sign in to them. Sleeper, MyFantasyLeague and Fleaflicker need nothing at all. Yahoo, ESPN and CBS do, and what happens next depends on what you choose when you connect.
  • Keeping a connection open: a league that keeps itself up to date needs its connection kept open, so we store what the platform gave us, encrypted, and use it only to read that league. We never write to your league on their platform and we never read anything else with it. It is stored until you press Disconnect or delete your account, and deleting your account deletes it. For Yahoo, you can also revoke us from your Yahoo account page. For ESPN and CBS there is no such page, because what those platforms give us is your own sign-in rather than a permission slip made out to us. Disconnect and account deletion are how you end it with us, and changing your password at that platform is the surest way to end it at their side.
  • Plans: the current app sells nothing, so no store bills you on our behalf. When a commissioner plan goes on sale, one bought in the iOS app will be billed by Apple, and we will receive the transaction record Apple sends us, never your card details. We would store which plan you have and when it renews, nothing more.

Sharing inside your league

A league is a shared space: your team, scores, records, and ledger entries are visible to your league mates, and to anyone a commissioner shares a read-only league link with. Read-only links show league records and never show personal contact details.

Deleting your data

Delete your account inside the app: open More, then Delete my account under Your account. On the website the same control is on your Account page. Your sign-in and your personal details are erased, and any league only you ever used is removed with them. League records reference teams, not people, so a shared league's history survives with your name unlinked from it. If you run a league other people play in, you choose who takes over as commissioner before your account goes, so nobody loses their league, and the league keeps whatever plan time it had. Any paid plan is canceled first.

You never have to contact us to leave. If you want help anyway, max@fantasyskinz.com reaches a person.

Age

Fantasy Skinz is for adults 18 and over. We ask for date of birth when you claim a team, and we check it before the claim goes through. If you never claim a team, we never ask. We do not knowingly store data about anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes get announced in the app.
